Default New YPN Check

Did anyone notice the new format of the YPN check?

They implemented new form of security. I'm sure this is used everywhere but I found it nifty. Basically, you breath on a certain area of the check and it changes color.

Wow. That's a pretty cool way for security. I don't use YPN, really. But I'm about to get involved just for the checks.

I've never seen or heard of that for any kind of check. I've always heard of the whole hold-the-check-up-to-the-light thing. Any chance you can post a photo of your check with the appropriate bits whited out?

I would be happy to but I deposited the check yesterday. If no one else posts a picture, I'll definitely put one up next month.

Yes. My friend had a check like that. It might've been a YPN check, I can't remember. But he showed it to me. It was pretty neat.

Wow, that's some pretty neat stuff. I've never heard of, or seen a check like this either. I'd really like to see one of these puppies in real life though.

There aren't any other Yahoo publishers around here to say something about it?

Haven't YPN started using EFT payments yet like Adsense?
I'd have thought they would have done that from the start.

Having heard that you received a check from YPN really makes me envy! I am still very much waiting for YPN to get out from beta. I heard that YPN is much better than adsense in term of fraud control.

Unlike Adsense which simply ban publisher for that but didn't give detailed information on what, why, how, when etc, I heard from others that YPN actually helps to deter fraudulent clicks from your site, thus in turn protect your publisher acount too. Max, is it true?

Yes. At the moment, YPN is a bit more lenient. Google bans publishers more frequently than Yahoo for invalid clicks, etc.

Thz Max for your guide! Looks like it would be a better choice to go with YPN at the moment especially for lower traffic sites. To what I notice too, higher traffic sites would be on safer part in Adsense due to the percentage of fraud is too small and couldn't trigger Adsense alarm, thus making it safer for them. On the other part, for lower traffic site, even a small amount of fraud could result in higher percentage and thus trigger the alarm causing the account to be banned.

Really can't wait for it to out of bete as soon.
