Default Safe Internet advertisings

What is the safe way in Internet advertisement can anyone provide me the guidelines or brief overview to that. Also please tell me about processing orders also. What FTC can do if we do any mistake? Is that a serious issue, How they can come to know that something has gone wrong and were.
